Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. The most awards she has received were for her performance as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard for the film Nashville (2012). As of 2015, Aubrey Peeples took on her role as Jerrica Jem on the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by the parents Wendy as well as Ashley. Her older sister is Ally. While growing up Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her speech was the valedictory for her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University admitted her, however she had to decide with her admissions twice before she could be accepted as a student at Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She also appeared in TV movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She joined the cast in the role of a prominent recurring character in the second season of the drama show Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed that she has bipolar disorder in an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples to be one of the top actors of the year under twenty in September 2014.
